Welcome to the Western Canadian Chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association.  If you are a computer forensic investigator, Information Security professional, or work daily in solving computer crime you have come to the right site.

The High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) is designed to encourge, promote and facilitate the interchange of data, experience, ideas, and methodologies relating to investigations and security in advanced technologies.   For more information about the HTCIA organization please access the International HTCIA website .

Our Western Canadian Chapter meets monthly to discuss personal experiences and emerging trends within Information Security and Data Forensics.  Each meeting we will have a speaker present on a body of knowledge relative to this area.  Think you have something to offer?  Then tell us about it.  We are actively seeking new topics and speakers for our meetings.

If you work in this field, we would like you to come to one of our meetings to learn more about us.  You will find the meetings very informative, build new networking opportunities, and make new friends.  Make a positive contribution to the profession and society at large... come on by and participate in the meetings.  Check out the Meetings/Events section for when and where the next meeting will be held.

The website is in process of being updated. Some functions may not be available at this time.
